And English can't decide on a meaning for Susan. Lily? Rose? Black-eyed SUSAN? No one knows the truth, but no matter how you put it, PLANT.
exactly
talithalungbarrow replied to your post:Guys I didn’t write today. As promised you can...
*annoyingly motivates* You can do it! You can write the thing! :D
Yeah!
Only 6,500 words left and then I'm done with this! (well I'm done with Nanowrimo...the book won't be finished at that point...sadly)
So I don’t normally do these things, but do-you-fancy-billie-piper-sir’s questions seem like funso I’m gonna answer their questions. My 11 Tags are:
the-problematic-sapiosexual, theicequeen24, mialovespercy, pngenius, her—name-in-lights, talithalungbarrow, solusangel, agents-of-shield-shipping, officialhydra, badwolfroseandcrownsoufflegirl, time-lord-ramnikul
Rule #1, always post the rules. Rule #2, answer the questions the person who tagged you asked, then write 11 new ones. Rule #3, tag 11 people then link them in the post. Rule #4, tell then you tagged them. Rule #5, tell the person that tagged you when you’ve answered the questions.
1.What is your favorite time of year and why?
There’s a decent chance I have SAD’s (I’m avoiding diagnosis for various reasons) so I have to say August, as it’s the least likely time for me to get depressed. However, I prefer October for the weather.
2. What field of work are you interested in?
Medicine – I’m studying to be a doctor!
3. Last time you laughed, like, really laughed out loud.
Sadly, at this video
4. What people do you trust most in the world?
I really don’t trust anyone apart from my family and gf. Maybe three other friends I trust completely, but I’m not naming them here.
5. If you could have one super power, what would it be? FLIGHT. FLIGHT FLIGHT FLIGHT FLIGHT FLIGHT.
6. If you could visit any time period and any place in the world, where/when would you go? 20 July 1969, Huston. I suspect mankind will never go further than we went that day.
7. Book or film that impacted your life in a positive way The predictable answer: Harry Potter Books. Reasons are good though. Before HPatPS, I hated reading. Really hated it. I couldn’t do it that well, and I didn’t see the point; my parents read to me, surely that was enough. Then my mum read HPatPS to me, and I fell in love with the story. So my mum made me a deal; for her to read a 2 chapters, I had to read half of one out loud. This quickly fell apart, as I would continue reading beyond halfway without noticing. Then, one night, we got past the potions test. My mum put the book down and left it by my bed, “for tomorrow.” As soon as she had left, I turned on my bedside lamp, and started reading. That was the first book I picked up of my own accord. The Prisoner of Azkaban was the first book I read all on my own. The 5th book was the longest book I’d read for about 5 years (until I hit TLOTR). The 7th book I finished at 9AM on the day of release.
8.Put your phone/ipod/mp3/computer/music source on shuffle. First 3 songs? “Green and Red of Mayo” by the Saw Doctors
“Dustbowl Dance” by Mumford and Sons
“Sympathy for the Devil” by the Rolling Stones
9. Your favorite meaningful quote to whom much is given, much will be required’ (Luke 12:48). I’m a white middleclass Christian cis male in a heterosexual relationship living in Britain studying medicine. Basically I’ve been given every possible advantage you could have in life, so I can’t waste it by just being average.
10. Pet Peeves? Shivering. Serisously, don’t shiver around me. If I offer you my coat or a blanket or anything, take it, because it probably means I think you’re shivering or about to.
11. Event youre looking forward to in the near future.
August 23rd If I need to say more then we have a problem
My 11 Questions are:
If you could save one person from history Captain America style and have them alive today, who would it be and why?
Which Doctor would you like to come and take you away?
Book that means the most to you and why?
Piece of Classical music that speaks to you
Least favorite moment of a film and why?
If you were a member of shield and heard the words "Hail Hydra," what would you do?
Best and Worst Christmas presents and why
If you were an animal, what would you be?
What, in your opinion, is the purpose of science?
Real Dragons or Starship Enterprise?
If you could punch one man in the face really hard, how would you maximize the damage you did to Tony Abbot?
talithalungbarrow said: How do you have the ability to take me to an Italian café without moving an inch? The cafés that we saw were likely quite different, but I had the feeling of being there all the same. That’s an amazing skill you have.
I - oh my gosh wow. I had to reread your first sentence to grasp what you were saying but then I realized you were telling me that I had done such a good job with the description that you felt as though you were in the actual place I was at. Wow. I consider that a really great compliment and a sign of success so, thank you. Thank you very much. Wow.
talithalungbarrow said: *sees Rubik’s cube in the background* Gimme.
I would gladly do so because I got it on a whim when I was like ten (I was somehow obsessed with the idea of having a Rubik's cube) and I was never good at solving it. It literally sits around uselessly.
talithalungbarrow said: I had to scrap 25,000 of my novel a few days ago. The plot just spit into three different ones and it as a mess. But I already have the concept down, so starting over will be easier than starting the first time. (:
