When Delta Slim, Sammie and Stack were riding in the car and Slim was telling ‘em about what happened to his friend, hearing the audio of the agony and pain instead of seeing a traditional flashback was so chilling! Made me so sad! And then when Slim was tapping his leg, I felt like that was his way of getting out of that space leading to him creating that beat and telling Sammie to play his guitar. You can tell music was healing for him and his therapy of sorts.

This movie was PHENOMENAL! I’m still processing everything! A week later and I felt so much watching. Go see this movie y’all.

I STAND by the fact that Delroy should’ve won Best Supporting Actor. He was such a delightful addition to cast and made you feel what Delta Slim felt in his stories. I got chills from his story of his friend and how he ended up in music. And don’t get me started on Wunmi!!

The fact that people are already spoiling Sinners pisses me off like it hasn’t even been 24 hours. It’s one thing to tell people to stay for the credits cause that’s not a spoiler, but to not wait makes no sense. I haven’t even seen it yet. Thankfully I haven’t seen any. Where’s the etiquette??
