Hope you’re not tired of me, because I’m back again! (To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to have so much inspiration from this topic, but look at me go) Because I was thinking of Frozen, and Clear as Elsa, but then decided that Clear fits better with Rapunzel. So yup, time for Tangled! Noicle. So, Clear would be locked up in the tower by his grandfather for Clear’s own ‘protection’. It was actually so he could keep Clear’s magical voice (instead of hair) that could heal wounds and slow aging all to himself. He made Clear fear the outside, telling Clear that he was different from normal humans and that people would hurt him for it, but Clear still really wanted to see it. One day, Noiz comes across the tower (while the grandfather is out) and gets inside somehow. He meets the innocent and sheltered Clear, and offers to show Clear what lies outside the tower. They get to have the whole, ‘I look like everyone else?’, conversation thing, and once Noiz confirms for the hundredth time, that ‘yes, you look like a normal person’ Clear goes with Noiz, though he does feel guilty breaking his promise with his grandfather. Like with the movie, the grandfather gets angry when he sees that Clear has left the tower, so he hires bandits to scare Clear into going back to the tower. Noiz then comes to save Clear and then they live happily ever after.

We could never get sick of the lovely LTAN founder!! These submissions are amazing (plus there can never be enough discussion on Disney AU’s really)~

But hoLY COW I was actually having this conversation with Jade yesterday, since we seemingly don’t have anything else to talk about apart from our LTAN discussion for the week c;

I think that this is one of the AUs that really fits perfectly with Clear and Noiz - Flynn with his fake name, Rapunzel and her naivety about the world (accompanied by an astounding ability to see the good in others), Max and his hatred for Flynn - I think we all know which bisexual hairdresser I’m making the connection with for this one.

I really like the idea of Noiz showing Clear a whole new world and the sacrifice at the end gets me every time.

I honestly don’t have much to add to this AU because I think that it would follow along closely to the movie (except mayyyybe Toue as Mother Gothel and Clear’s grandfather as the King would be a better fit?), but I’d just like to say: Noicle duet. Yes. Good.

Ahaha Frozen!Noicle. This started as a joke, but the more I think of it, the more it fits. Noiz actually parallels with Elsa quite well. He has an ability that caused his parents to fear him so they keep him locked up in his room trying to hide him from the rest of the world. And he hates his ability for making him different and hurting others. I guess that would make Anna, Theo. So Clear could be Chris(?, Reindeer guy, but the human, yeah, I think you get it) and help Theo save Noiz. Sibling love could save the day again and all that but, Clear doesn’t fall for Theo, so instead Clear just becomes a good friend to the royal family and visits often. Eventually, through all the visits Noiz would fall for Clear’s kind heart, and Clear would fall for Noiz, and Theo would support them. 

FROZEN FITS SO WELL UGH I LOVE THIS

This would also make the scene of Noiz (Elsa) escaping the kingdom that extra bit sadder because he would go under the impression no one would follow him. Not even Theo (Anna). He'd hardly even register Theo to be a possibility since his parents practically raised Theo under the idea that Noiz was a danger to himself and others. Imagine; Noiz finally getting out and gaining the freedom he hasn't had the past 19 years since being locked inside his room, smiling for the first time and finding confidence in himself. Maybe this way he can finally live for himself rather than others.

Of course, Theo is there, towing along a strange man Noiz has never even met and thinking that his limited experience of freedom has already drawn to a close. His walls would go back up immediately and he'd hold the same resolve his been holding for years. Theo would (of course) be the saviour in this AU and by just showing genuine human kindness and love, Noiz would have all the ice melt off his heart (metaphorically). By just showing him kindness (which he never had from his parents when they were alive and kicking), he feels he has some freedom and willingly goes back with Theo and the strange man in the gas mask. I imagine that Clear (Noiz soon learns his name one evening when friendly small talk breaks between the two) would serve beside them and a bond would be quickly formed between the two brothers and the white haired man. Noiz would probably get confused by the odd pounding sensation that would rise in his chest every time and as soon as Clear volunteers to take off the mask, he knows he is completely sold to this man. So now, against all the odds, Noiz has found love in his brother and Clear and is no longer frightened by the power he holds inside.
