The smie on his lips was tight. “Good evening, Boyd.” Cormac said, setting his leather bag on the dining table, one hand loosening his tie as he made his way into the kitchen. “Would you like a hot chocolate?” He asked, already taking out two mugs from the cupboard, then two bottles from the fridge. “It’ll have to be from a bottle though, ‘cause I don’t know how to make them.”
He flips through the page of some novel he can probably fall asleep on. “Seriously. Buy something entertaining, like Game of Throne or Harry Potter.” As a burglar extraordinaire, he doesn’t care if this isn’t even his own place. He puts feet up on the coffee table, leaning back on the couch. “You don’t know how to make a hot chocolate? Of course you don’t.” He rolls his eyes, putting the book aside. “I’ve got you something too.” He fishes out a bag of gummy bears and tosses it to Cormac-- of course, he didn’t buy it but still. “Go crazy, kid.”
