Every night, I go into the rabbit room and lock the dogs out so I can read the buns(specifically Larry, we all know the others don't care) a bed time story. The other night, I was feeling like death so I picked a short one shot that was only about 1000 words to read to them so I could go to bed early.
After I read to them, I gave Larry a kiss on the forehead and went to bed.
Half an hour later, I heard a thump from their room. I didn't think anything of it. Sometimes they just sprint around and then thump when they stop. But then it happened again. And again. Finally, I was kind of concerned, but I haf already taken medicine to make me sleep so I didnt want to get out of bed so I just checked them in the camera. Larry was sitting right next to our shared wall, thumping. I couldn't see anything that was bothering her, but she was watching the door with one of her ears directed at my room so I decided she must want me to come back in.
When I went back, she hopped over to me and stood with her little hands on my leg until I sat down so she could climb in my lap. She then refused to let me leave until I read her something longer, which ended up being the latest chapter of Unbent by everyone's favorite, @talkativelock
