I personally love Gaolers but there are deffo some things that make me Very Mad about them... Like how the fr team was saying that Ancient Breeds can't wear clothes "Because they'll have more/less limbs than dergs that CAN wear clothes" and then they released a AB that is exactly the same as a normal breed except with some "silhouette breaking tert genes"....
right!!!! im pleased as punch that we’re getting new breeds more frequently and crossing my fingers and praying to bloodstone runes that we get a fatass hydra/emperor breed with just the GNARLIEST silhouette
but to me re: the gaylers, it sort of feels like this was their go at redoing tundra art with aspirational ‘silhouette breaking genes’…. ones they may have wanted to do at the very beginning of the site before settling on ‘too hard to make work with all apparel pieces’.
like the ‘no apparel’ is an OK solution to the apparel conundrum esp. if we get Weirder looking dragons but for the first ancient breed to be so normie….eh…. a less than desirable start to a new system
personally i really don’t get why they couldn’t/didn’t release limited apparel pieces for the dragons… like the flowerfalls/splashy apparel sets at least, maybe the bangles too… but that’s just my onion pinion
