Sunlight Force Fandom

Guys, from today on I'm the odd one out in the fandom.

As soon as I come here (with Shy's permission) I'm asking you guys, what ships, which characters have nothing to do with each other, but in your eyes have the slightest bit of chemistry, do you see in Sunlight Force?

I was just curious about what might come of this, obviously, you could talk about the meme ships that have already been posted in some drawings, and maybe I'll make fan art of them. XD

hell breaking loose for days now in multiple fandom in the brazilian side of twitter because people don’t the basic of fandom etiquette and a moron wanted a app to evaluate fics just like people did for published books…

I think we need to accept the fact, in any fandom, that shipping is and forever will be a thing. Some people are hopeless romantics, and that’s okay! They’re allowed to interact and interpret media any way they want, even if it’s not canon or wasn’t intended by the creators. As long as it’s not proshipping or hurting anyone, we shouldn’t make anyone feel bad. And you can always just block certain tags!

Is everyone going to use the correct tags? Unfortunately not, but that doesn’t mean that everyone who likes to ship things should be seen negatively.

I've been thinking about Soos's line "this had better match up with my fanfiction" and why that joke feels less mean than some of the jokes about fanfic I've seen and I think I know why. The punchline of Soos's joke is not "I write fanfiction". It's "I expect you, the canon, to match up with what I expect". Somehow this subtle difference feels to me more like a good natured ribbing than a mean spirited joke, and knowing the way Alex and the GF crew tend to write, I hope that's the way it was intended.

Things I find interesting: seeing the concept of "anchors" adapted into werewolf AU fanfic in other fandoms. It's always interesting to see concepts originating in one fandom spreading across other fandoms as a trope.
