R - For me to tell 10 of my curiosities. 

I’m guessing we’re talking interesting facts here? You probably know most of these, but I hope some followers of mine will be entertained. Oh my, 10, let’s see...

My childhood nickname is the German word for bee & it has nothing to do with my real name.

I’ve lived in 4 countries so far (and there’s so many more to explore!)

I used to do synchronised swimming at a professional level

You can clearly see the same nose profile on me and paintings of both my great-grandfather and my grandfather on the paternal side. Genetics sure are fun!

I’ve only properly stepped out of the house about 7 times since lockdown began in March. We thankfully have a garden.

I am in the background during Sherlock S4, not as an official SA but just because of my commitment to being around lol

I once won a horse. No, I will not elaborate.

I cannot deal with spicy food to save my life. Things that others try for me and classify as ‘not at all spicy’ is usually still too spicy for me.

I did not make it to homeroom (which was the first 15 minutes of the school day) or indeed arrive on time to the actual first class of the day for probably 99% of my last year in high school. (I mean I have been late to things pretty much ever since I was a month early for my birth (fact no 10 lol) which I guess took up all my motivation for being early for things, but that really was another level altogether).

I was still in the top 5% of my year though. Yes, sorry, I have always been that annoying person who has to do the bare minimum to get the good grades. Fun at the time but it sure has fucked up my work ethic for the rest of my life.

U - How many texts I send daily. 

Lol well actual texts would be 0. Do people still text? Anyways, if we’re talking written messages over all platform then wow, so, so many, especially currently. I’m also the worst texter cause I like to seperate my thoughts into different messages, so you#ll get like 20 from me at a time. Kinda tempted to do an actual count now of the last 24 hours, let me give it a try.

So I’ve counted about 484 messages sent by me over the last 24 hours in various chats, almost 3/4 of which are @glassofgaytea lol about life, the universe 6 everything, as usual, but also mostly about The Untamed currently. Oh and I also watched a film via Netflix party last night so that’ll be another million messages in the chat or so. We know what my hands think about all this typing...

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites. 

This is all a lot harder than expected haha but I think I’ll have to go with:

Wei Wuxian - I’ve literally only just started watching The Untamed but this is an absolute case of ‘I've only had Wei Wuxian for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself’. I mean I know shit happens to him lol but in my head he’s having a lovely time! I will always be drawn in by someone who does their own thing, and here it’s also with the added bonus of him being a ray of fucking sunshine!

Sherlock Holmes - You can’t ignore your roots, ya know, and I do still love that man dearly, in all incarnations. Also, there might be a bit of a theme here, looking at the personality of these characters. Who would have guessed...

You know what, while we’re at it with the roots and rulebreakers, I’ll go all the way back and pick:

Phoebe Halliwell from Charmed - Probably wasn’t aware of my crush at the time but even without that I of course could not resist the whole youngest troublemaker aesthetic. Also, once again, I’m basic, but I sure was a sucker for the Cole storyline (until it all became too tangled up in convoluted new magic rules and contrived plot, but that’s what happens in any long-running show I find, which is why I never stick with stuff).

X - A trope which you are almost certain to love in any fandom. 

This one’s actually easy tbh and it’s fucking SOULMATES. Sue me, but that just gets me every time. There’s loads of other tropes I consistently love, I guess, but you can bet I’ll have gone through the whole soulmate tag in any fandom I’ve ever even remotely looked at.

We actually played around with the currently popular fic trope tier maker the other day in the house, so I might as well throw the whole thing out there for y’all to judge me. Clearly, I’m easy to please lol.
