‘You have such a great fear of freedom, brother. It’s shackling you. You’ve identified so hard with the colonizer, you think any threat to them is a threat to you. When are you going to realize you can’t be one of them?’

The pair of them spent the night in the medbay, but Mav had been let out earlier with a bunch of painkillers and a few new stitches. In the morning, the actual morning that is, he did get that talking to from the Captain. And he’d been right about the subject matter. He needed to learn to cool his temper, to control it, to master it, and not to let it go flying out over their new ally. That in turn, just had Mav bringing his idea up to the Captain, about Dius maybe being one of them.

I do ride the bike this time of year sometimes, to be honest. Actually a lot of the time, you get used to it. But that's...not the best idea. That sounds awfully, texturally. And just kind of painful. That's exactly what it is, and it feels like people are made to feel like they're missing out for not reading a book, even if it's not suited to them and their interests. Nothing too crazy, but it's been fascinating since we've had a surge in popularity of crystals, which is relevant to my day job. What did you like as a kid- and are you still doing something to do with that?

rewatching Heartstopper for the umpteenth time and that moment when Mr. Ajayi says "Wow. Being a teenager is terrible" I feel it in my soul
