Roughed out this spoon/spatula today. Roughing is difficult for me. I don't think my hatchet is quality enough. I bought it for like 30 on Amazon, but the grind is all wrong. I've also been struggling with getting everything sharp. I'm able to follow @spoon_carving_with_tom's sharpening turtorials but I feel like my sharpening is at about 80% of where I need it to be. Oh well, this year in carving for me is all about the reps. Somethings not quite right here. 😂😖 The "haven't ridden the bike except for races" line is getting old. Did this while doing warm up laps at Gravelly. Hit a root in a weird way and suddenly I'm on the ground. Did this with my thigh. Only discovered that it was broken when I started sprinting for the practice laaapz. Almost pulled it clean off. Was wary about carbon bars voor #cx, and this was why. #talkingboutpractice #TheCXOff #cyclocross
