I think people forget that it’s not Fan and Test Tube who hold ultimate power in this competition. nobody holds an extreme amount of power over anyone else like they did with MePhone, but if anyone it’s the OSC trio who hold the real power. suitcase was likely to shut down the show and fan himself agreed with the idea. But also nobody is forcing anybody to join the show; responsibility on the shoulders of everyone who’s continuing the cycle INCLUDING the contestants. it’s not really anyone’s fault though — this is all they know! if the cycle has been their life then they want to continue it. their society wasn’t functioning because they don’t know anything else. what they’ll need to see is that there’s a life outside of their closed off bubble
