Catchy tune and light-hearted animation educates children on a sensitive topic
What is it? The NSPCC’s “Pantosaurus” animation, developed by Aardman and OMD UK. Pantosaurus is an animated dinosaur who teaches children that their privates are private, and that no means no.
It’s good because it’s a light-hearted and age-appropriate tool with a catchy tune which enables parents and carers to discuss the difficult topic of sexual abuse with their children. The website also includes more resources for kids and guides for parents on how to talk PANTS.
