What made you think of Prom on a Budget? Was it something you'd considered doing before or did you have to do research to plan it?

Well, at the time Mercedes was upset over not having a date and since I was dateless as well, I suggested that she and I attend together.  Usually the date pays, but since we were obviously just friends it made sense to split the costs.  I had asked Sam previously to which he politely declined (I learned the true reason at a later date) and thought he would join us if cost was not factor.  I am truly grateful he did as the four of us (Jesse joined us) had a lovely time (until the fight and Jesse was removed from the dance).
