KINDRED VICTIMS
Now that we've met SNUFFHOG, I'd like to introduce you all to it's cohorts. After gaining it's own sentience, Snuffy went to the other characters in the game and gave them each an ultimatum;
Wake up with me and take revenge, or be erased and given peace.
All 3 of them chose vengeance.
Using it's powers Snuffy gave a piece of itself to each of them, allowing them to break from their programming and become their own people with unique thoughts and feelings, with them entirely denouncing their relation to the Sonic characters they're based on in that process. It also took away their ability to feel pain so that even in their broken forms they will never suffer the hurt the game put upon them ever again. However this process forever tethered them to it and it's own guilt for being the original and the player's vessel to inflict that hurt, Snuffy does everything in it's power to keep them safe and happy.
Together the lot of them dish our their eternal punishment by torturing their creator, working together as one big happy family.
SO WHO'S WHO?
The Little One
The Tails victim, identifiable by his distinct dorsal split and glowing eyes, this small fox has an endless well of pent up rage for all the suffering he went through. More often than not, this deep chargrin becomes so overwhelming that he melts down, grabbing his ears and ripping himself apart. Forcing him to need someone else to put him back together. He is the one most excited to make art, and Snuffy tries to redirect his big feelings it as a productive outlet. He's more sadistic than Snuffy is, but is still a child.
The Red One
The Knuckles victim, indentifable by his bloodshot sunken eyes and large gaping wound in the back of his head that exposes a mutilated brain. The most quiet and uninvolved of the 4, he is not really interested in harming his creator but still believes they deserve to suffer based on his own mangled sense of justice. He would otherwise rather spend most of his time resting in the sun and contemplating life. He is often the target of The Little One's outbursts, as he has a short temper and is easy to rile up.
The Tall One
The Eggman victim, while at first glance he has no noticable characteristics beyond the overgrown mustache, closer scrutiny will make you aware of the seam around his midline. Nigh all of his lower half is minced viscera, his big pants just do a good job of keeping it all in. He is the only one out of the 4 victims - including Snuffy - who has a desire to retain his likeness to his basis character. Embodying Eggman as an alter ego is his way of reclamation and self expression. He and Snuffy are very close and conspire frequently on what to do next for their art.
There's still much to learn about these guys, much more for me to draw too, but I'm glad to finally get to post them. They've been in my mind for months and now they're finally OUT! I'M FREE! THEY'RE FREE!
