So speaking of Human Naoki, Im guessing she ain't popular after her. . . attempting murder of Inako.
Human Naoki / Integrity's also nonbinary so they/them pronouns btw. All humans ever in this AU are nonbinary so it makes it easier to remember XD
But yeah no they're not popular with the main group at least. Inako, Clover, Ceroba, Dalv, Martlet. But the knowledge of that fight has sorta been contained to that group - the other fallen humans know something went down, but have no details as to what. That information isn't widespread enough.
Thought, Inako zoomies
They end up on the roof and there is no way Ceroba's getting them down
So what does Clover do when they aren't nearby any of their monster friends?
Actually... who do they live with?
They live with Martlet! So Martlet's usually nearby. Although Martlet, Ceroba, Starlo, and occasionally Dalv will frequently pick up any or all of the kids for a bit. They've got a weird lil communal family situation going on.
So usually there's at least some monster friend they can find. If it's not any of the adults, they hang out with Inako a lot, or find some other monsters to play some game with. They're a pretty active kid, they like running around and climbing stuff and exploring.
They do have school, but I've never been to a typical school and I don't find it interesting enough of an art topic to study that environment, so their education is largely offscreen.
Now, why do they primarily stay around monsters? You'll have to find out. :)
I just got the mental image of some jerk running over Inako in their car, only for Inako to flow in through the vents...
NOOOO DON'T HURT THE THEM
I feel like Inako would absolutely end up breaking the car, whether that's purposefully or accidentally. Which is heckin deserved if someone actually tried to run them over on purpose >:( Even if they can reform, that's still gotta hurt.
So I think crawling into the car through the vents like a horror creature and doing irreversible damage to both the car and the person's psyche is well within their rights u-u
How solid do you think inako is compared to the rest of the amalgams?
Around as solid as Endogeny, which is less than Crystal but more than Reaper Bird or Lemon Bread. And as with all amalgams, some parts of themselves are easier to keep solid than others. Inako's face is usually more solid while their hands and arms are very melty for example, while alternatively Endogeny's main body is more melty while the shadow dogs aren't really. Lemon Bread's hands and face usually aren't too melty, but their body is moreso (though not anywhere near as badly as, say, Crystal's.)
Determination's an unreliable thing, none of them work quite the same as each other, and I feel like Inako's sorta middle of the road in this respect.
So... How is Inako Naoki feeling about human Naoki right now?
Probably like they'd rather not think about them too much.
Integrity (my nickname for Human Naoki) did attack Inako and try to get Kanako killed after all. It's not pleasant to imagine that happening again - and, luckily enough, it hasn't for quite a while.
Plus, Integrity looks unnervingly similar to how Naoki used to look, so they'd really rather not dwell too much on the fact that their face has basically been stolen by someone who'd be more than willing to kill their best friend.
So, really just would rather not dwell on their existence too much. It's a bit frightening to think about.
Since Inako can shapeshift and all, have they ever tried shapeshifting into something that can fly? I wonder if Martlet could teach them how…
So, technically, they could shapeshift into a bird or else with wings. However, one of the main limitations of their shapeshifting is they can't exactly move while they're shapeshifted. It's why they tend to turn into inanimate objects rather than animals or people.
So if they wanted to shapeshift into a bird, the best they could do is either a statue of a bird or a dead bird.
I don't think Martlet would want to teach a dead bird how to fly. :(
