It's only very vaguely implied in canon but I really like the idea that Sans is the one person that Alphys told about the true lab. I'm sure a bunch of people have made much funnier art about it than this but I wanted to draw Sans learning about the amalgamates

I don't think we talk enough about the fact that Flowey's technically an Amalgamate, at least partially.

Like, the horrifying melty facial expressions? The white center no other golden flower has?

The simple, smiling face that looks an awful lot like each Amalgamate's in its resting base form, before it attacks?

The fact that his boss form not only resembles things found in the lab (the DT extractor machine, the pipes presumably pumping determination through him, the TV), but also is literally designed as an unholy amalgamation of living material that was never meant to coexist in one body?? AKA, the kind of thing he was reborn as and sees himself as???

I love me some Dreemurr family angst, but we have to remember that the lab is just as integral to his lore because COME ON
