Time to Kill 6/7 [Overwatch]

Summary: Following the events in Dubai and Lena Oxton’s disclosure to her former team mates of Talon’s true hold over her, those same employers have less time to make best use of their favorite human weapon, as she continues to test their true mastery, and they strive to find a better method. Warnings: Graphic violence, torture/abuse, ptsd, character death (secondary). Note: This follows Terminal Velocity.

"I still don't think this is necessary," Minister Leonard Wright studied Lena as she maintained an impassive expression.

"I understand your concerns, sir," Fuhrman answered smoothly, "but we feel security for this meeting is paramount and Talon wishes to ensure your complete safety."

She remembered Wright from the show'n'tell gala, though the questions he had asked about Talon's augmentation program had been too general for her to recall. He was an United States Cabinet member, director of Homeland Security, and Fuhrman had just warned him that he was expected to cooperate. When she tried to slide her gaze up to look the man in the eyes, she caught a flicker of motion from Fuhrman's hand and snapped her eyes down, studying Wright's tastelessly generic red tie instead.

Wright grunted softly, perhaps having noticed the exchange, and smoothed his suit jacket before turning away. "Keep her leashed, soldier."

Hi there! I take it you're a fan of the idea of "Talon!Tracer"? I know I'm certainly a fan of it. I feel like there's a lot of potential in it that it kinda makes me wish it was canon. Especially if we're talking about Talon!Tracer vs Overwatch!Widowmaker.

It’s been forever since I’ve seen anyone mention it! I dunno why it dropped off exactly, but yeah, I really liked the idea. I guess I’m a sucker for anti-villains, yknow? Back when widowtracer was big (before tracer’s girlfriend was revealed), a lot of fics / art revolved around the angst of widowmaker reclaiming her life and trying to heal from what talon had done to her; part of what’s great about talon!tracer is that you get even *more* of that angst, since instead of brainwashing, tracer’s simply been led astray, and at her core still knows she’s doing wrong.

It’s also fun when people make alternate costumes for various heroes. I think I saw a talon!mei once, that was awesome.
