Good Morning

Walking into the snowflakes as they fell gently and intermittently through the dark sky, as if barely real. Floating, unaware of my movements, breath, or existence, as if in slow motion, outside of my physical body. Gradually, the winter sun broke the day, casting explosions of layered pinks and purples across the edges of the town. Fresh air in the present moment met my lungs but was inhaled into the horizon as the sun peaked over the pines.
