i just thought of beakley taking care of tala/jade and goldie walking in on it—or seeing it and then spying on beakley and being kind of jealous that she's doing such a good job. then beakley reveals she's known goldie was watching the whole time and tells her she's doing better at it than she thinks she is, followed by tala being super excited to see her mom and immediately jumping towards goldie

here's goldiemaya baby i doodled on my phone. after getting some feedback her name is talulla jade! sometimes called tala/jade.

talulla is such a perfect name for her. it's irish meaning "wealth, abundance" so it sounds like a name scrooge or goldie would suggest lmao. (i h/c goldie as irish-canadian.) the nickname "tala" is filipino for "bright star", but can also mean "gold".

also here's some notes abt her design!

hair: i h/c goldie has naturally curlier hair that she usually just straightens out. she got the curls mostly from goldie and some hair stickin out is supposed to resemble maya's. the gold streak is bc goldie's genes are too strong so they snuck their way in there

eyes: maya's eye shape but goldie's green eyes and thick lashes

beak: from maya

freckles: h/c that it's common in goldie's family

feathers: maya, tail feathers are more like goldie's but her tail is long like maya's

she also has duck feet

she also kinda bears resemblance to scrooge's sister/s (who depends on which version, but in dt17 it's more of a hypothetical hortense)

also she's a goldiemaya baby but obvs it's important to note that scrooge is her dad. he takes her to board meetings just to show her off
