flea market finds: a couple of bootleg Tamagoras. a rather lovely reproduction of the mantis, which i didn't have any version of until now... and a Totally Radical t. rex!
I'm fascinated to discover that the original Tamagoras mantis did not even have any paint on its body, aside from the eyes! the yellow airbrushing on the knockoff is much more aesthetic to me.
also, almost every copy that's been sold on the English-speaking internet recently has the antennae broken off. which is no surprise - you have to bend them into your choice of a few non-beneficial positions if you want to get it into the egg. I'm just gonna be happy with this one I’ve got, and never transform it again.
