Roblox Updates Tamagotchi Party Gifting Feature

More fun is coming to the Roblox Tamagotchi Party! You can now receive a gift without a Tamagotchi Paradise QR code.

By selecting the shop icon inside the Tamagotchi Party game screen, select the “code” button at the bottom left of the shop screen, select an item, press the “receive” button receive the item.

To receive gifts, you must register for a Roblox account which is free, gifts can only be used within the Tamagotchi Party, and you can receive a gift once per month. Lastly, contents of the gift and how to receive them may change with future updates.

Don’t Want Your Tamagotchi to Return to Tama Planet? It’ll Die Instead

After raising a Tamagotchi for seven days on the Tamagotchi Pix, it’s about time to say goodbye. Your Tamagotchi character will ask to make an album, and it’s something you cannot ignore, but slightly delay. If you do not action the creation of the photo album, it will keep asking every few hours. We decided to try out ignoring the prompt for two days. What happened after two days? Well the screen of our Tamagotchi Pix lit up, two angels came from above, and slowly lifted our beloved Awamokotchi away and then the Tamagotchi tombstone appeared.

Yes, our Awamokotchi refused to make an album and return to Tama Planet, so instead she died. Now in the instruction manual pictured above, it does say there is an option to say no to making the photo album, and there there is an option to build the photo album at a later time in the item box if you have a friendship level of five or higher. We have yet to see this feature on the Tamagotchi Pix. Our advice to you, if you see the prompt to make a photo album and return to Tama Planet, proceed with it! Selfishly we wanted to keep and see Awamokotchi on our screen for as long as possible.

How to Pause a Tamagotchi Pix

Life moves fast, and you might not always be able to attend to your Tamagotchi Pix, so how can you pause it? Let's explore the options you have when life gets the best of us. The Pix appears to have only one pause method available, and it works well.

Sitter - This is typically our go-to method. Use your smartphone and select the “Sitter” option. From there the sitter, Sitter Poketchi, will ring the doorbell and inform you that it costs 100 Gotchi per Tamagotchi to watch over your Tamagotchi while you’re away. While being cared for by the sitter, your Tamagotchi will retain its hungry and happy meter levels and not get sick. The sitter option is available between the hours of 7:00AM to 6:55PM. Once 6:55PM hits, the sitter will leave and your Tamagotchi is on its own.

Other pause methods on previous Tamagotchi’s do not work on the Tamagotchi, this includes the time set screen where you pretend to edit the time for hours on end. Once the screen times out, you wake up the Pix using the top shutter button, which makes the wakeup screen appear, and it always resets back to the living space. Tamagotchi On users also enjoy connecting to the application for hours on end to preserve their Tamagotchi's health while away, but this type of connectivity does not exist on the Pix.

We also tried sending our Tamagotchi off to a playdate and keeping the Tama Code on the screen, which didn’t work too well as your Tamagotchi will return after a few minutes. You could pull the batteries from your Tamagotchi Pix everyday to deactivate it, and then pop the batteries back in and download your data bu this isn’t technically a true pause. You might also want to consider constantly changing your time so that your Tamagotchi is sleeping while you’re away, and awake when you get back, this technically is not a pause either as the Tamagotchi will continue to grow.

It looks like your only option for pausing the Tamagotchi Pix is the sitter, and it’ll cost you but with that said it’s a solid option and does take good care of your Tamagotchi until 6:55PM.

My Tamagotchi Forever Update 6.7.0 Brings Back Hide and Seek Mini Game

Gone are the Easter decorations and back is the hide and seek mini game! The My Tamagotchi Forever app has just received an update that brings back the hide and seek mini game which utilizes augmented reality. If you’ve been a long time user of the application then you know this feature very well. It looks like the feature has been improved in this version. The update also improves the tutorial of the game for new players. Lastly the release notes tease the next update which will include a new event! Any idea what event is next?

My Tamagotchi Forever 6.2.0 Update

My Tamagotchi Forever did promise that an update was on the horizon, and its officially here! Version 6.2.0 includes a new version of the shop that includes a section to get the Tama Academy card packs so you can easily obtain the fragments you’re missing!

They’ve also increased the fragment dropdown rate for the Hallway decorations that you were getting from the card packs during your semester. You’ll now be able to progress faster from now on! Be sure to update your My Tamagotchi Forever app to take advantage of these new features!
