Tama Pets Blog Article

The Tama Blog has been updated with an all-new article all about Tama Pets, and we couldn’t be more excited! The article reviews how to get a Tama Pet, and how to care for one too! This is super helpful for new users, but for us seasoned pros its nothing we aren’t familiar with!

Some helpful tips include placing different items outside to attract different Tama Pets, and also nurturing your pet such as visiting your pet, and even having your Tama Pet get married! Marrying Tama Pet’s was a huge feature of the Tamagotchi Meets, and the different mixes we’ve seen are adorable!

Tamagotchi LINE App: Tama Pets Are Coming!

Hooray for Tama Pets! Tama Pets are making their way to the beloved Tamagotchi LINE mini game and you’re going to LOVE this! Tama Pets are scheduled to appear in the app starting on Tuesday September 3rd, 2019 at approximately 17:00.

So what’s this all about? Tama Pets are set ready to play, and you’ll find them in the garden! You’ll find Rinsutchi, Doyakentchi, Chichi, Shurikentchi, and Makimo. Tama Pets can become friends simply by taking care of them! Once you’ve become friends, you can then live together and even name your Tama Pet! If you live with your Tama Pet then your Tama Pet’s friends may visit! Tama Pets can even get married, just like on the Tamagotchi Meets/On.

This is just one of the many new features and events Bandai is releasing for the celebration of the first anniversary of the beloved application!

I got so wrapped up in other things that I didn't get to the tama pet mixes until after everyone was grown up... 😓 But I still wanted to try it!

So I decided to start by crossing a Sanrio-specific pet with one from the Magical. Partly to confirm that pets, like tamas, can mix across language barriers.

Connection successful! (The Magic On's pet is going to the Sanrio here, but I think it should work the other way round too)

This animation is a bit cute: the host pet goes to play ball, kicks it too far, and then they start to play together. It's actually a bit more detailed than the default, lol.

Each pet goes back with an egg, and after that, the process is the same for a normal mix:

...yeaaaah.

They just switched body types, pretty much...so not super exciting.

I think it's because of my pet choices rather than the mechanics, though! Usually you'll at least get a color change. (face, body, and color seem to be the tama pet traits)

I'm not done yet, I want to keep seeing what happens with other combos!
