My name is Nic, I'm an Australia Industrial Designer and I've been working in the Industry since 2014. I've been frustrated for a long time about how to implement more sustainable practices and the way that most of the design decisions in my work are driven by the bottom dollar, not by quality or sustainability.
I've been talking about trying to be more sustainable in my work for a long time but doing nothing, so I want to make a start on actually doing something. I'll be sharing successful products that I find that have an inspiring environmental/social conscience.
I picked this name for no real reason other than that it sounds interesting and a bit relevant. Tamarind is super yummy and tamarind wood is pretty great too.
