Date night 😍😍😍 Tamdhu 10 Year Old, aged in Ex Oloroso Sherry Casks. Tamdhu was founded in 1896. The very first release of Tamdhu was in 1897. Tamdhu is Gaelic and means Dark Hill. The distillery was dormant between 1927 and 1947. Tamdhu Singlemalt goes into blends such as Famous Grouse, Naked Grouse, J&B and Cutty Sark. In 2017 Ian Macleod released a 50 year old Tamdhu. Nose: raisins, dark dried fruit, milk chocolate, caramel, sulphuric goodness! Palate: sweet sherry goodness, warm spice, light smoke. Finishes off with red berries, dark dried fruit.
