H-hi friend... I'm looking for some uhh... tumblr advice? I've had my blog for a while but I don't have any followers and idk why or what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it? Like I'm posting and writing but no notes or followers and it's just... sad. Like how do you people do this? What am I doing badly? How did you start?
Hello my dear! First of all I feel honored that you are asking me for advice wow thank you really! 😭💜 and second of all I have to say that I sometimes don’t even know myself how I got so lucky to get so many beautiful and amazing followers! Like sometimes I don’t even know myself how I got them, it’s just so unbelievably amazing! ❤ but I try my best to give you some helpful tips 💜😂
1. Don’t feel discouraged if you don’t get a big amount of followers/notes with just a snap of your finger. It takes time that people become aware of your blog. Just keep on posting stories and with time and patience people will start to follow you!
2. And I think that’s very important. Tagging! Tag your posts so people can find them. You know if you for example write a fluffy reaction tag it as #bts reactions #bts fluff and so forth.
3. Interact with your followers! Ask them to talk about literally anthing, ask them to send in requests, ask them to ask you questions. I found out that people like to interact with the blogs they follow and when you give them the feeling that they can do exactly that, they will start to send you asks/requests etc.
4. And the last tip I have for you, is to write stories you feel passionate about. Of course it’s also important/fun to work on requested stories. But for me personally the biggest increase in followers/notes was when I posted “Twelve Days of Christmas”, a story I was very passionate about and I think people could feel it. You know people tend to like to read stuff written with passion.
