My visit with Quinn took on a new meaning. My beautiful spinster aunt was suddenly my beautiful lesbian aunt who lived her life as she pleased. She would show me how to do the same. I decided I would tell her about those girls at school, the ones I sneaked sidelong looks at and daydreamed about kissing when I could bear to allow myself to. It all thrilled me, and being a timid child, it frightened me.

Sacred Fire Notes:

Turning into a monster for a week once every near decade doesn't sound all that bad. 

Why would Tinsley even go to work when she'd transformed a little well before her actual appointed transformation days? 

That is not something someone dealing with this problem for thirty five years would do. 

Why are they being so calm after Tinsley's almost beast-out? 

"He's handsome despite his disability"; yikes. 

What exactly would be the problem if the beast and the Lost Goddess came together? 

Tinsley's acting more like a teenager than a forty year old woman. 

Tinsley already put on the shirt. 

Literally three people have told Tinsley that once the Lost Goddess enters the underworld again, the door can't be closed and anything can come through! 

Why is Tinsley acting brand new? 

Alexandrine literally just removed her dress before she transformed, so how is it ripped? 

I thought their guns had silencers. 

Juliette's death felt so cheap and rushed. 

If Juliette and Sandra knew each other then why did Juliette throw the Sacred Fire ash on Sandra?
