i think i have not updated on my meeting with the third bridal on my list. so last week we went to meet her and discussed the package prices and how the whole process will be like. basically we left unconvinced and frustrated (this one more like me ah) because the price was way out of our budget. at that time i was just so done and nak give up. of course at the back of my mind still stress because eventually have to get a bridal. i was already considering to find cloth and tailor for all three days and just get a makeup artist. of course that will mean i have to get the accessories for hair so that is also another headache. thankfully my dear otter decided to let me go to the nearby cat cafe to make me happy for a bit and take my mind off the stress hehehe.
anyway, i took a break from researching and along the way, my mom asked me to look up for this bridal which my d & c (decor & catering for easier typing purpose) vendor mentioned before. so i thought why not right since my options for bridal has run out.
it was quite difficult to find pictures of this bridal and the reviews are barely there on the internet. so of course, i was quite cautious. the reviews that were there however were positive and the collection that they have is not bad so i thought what the hell just try and set appointment.
i had a medical appointment today and so i decided to slot in a an appointment with them in the evening. i intended to slot in an appointment with another bridal as well as both bridals were located in the same area but after talking on the phone, i decided that this particular was bridal was way out of my budget especially since we will have long hours. they were supposed to call me back to check if they had a slot but they didn’t so i guess it was a sign?
anyway, otter took leave today as well to accompany me and to discuss about our future with the doctor because of my medical issues. we came earlier than our slotted time and one of the makeup artist discussed with us about the rough itinerary for the nikah and wedding days, showed us their catalogues for gowns and traditional outfits which was to my liking! they were simple yet striking but not to the point of over the top. then we discussed the important issue of price and it was slightly above our budget but not about much considering the number of hours. plus, they didn’t go by hours so the MUA will be there for as long as we want. this was the most important because it was what most bridal packages were based on. basically it fitted what we want without us having to fork out so much. at first i thought i wanted to go back and discuss. when we asked if they had a slot for our date, they said they only had 1 left. i don’t know if this is a marketing strategy but it definitely had a huge influence on me. also because another couple came in like half an hour after us and i was scared they would take that slot so dengan secepatnya i agreed to book the slot.
now comes the best part. booking the slot can only be done by NETS or cash and it is $500. both our NETS even if add up cannot reach $500. gaji belum masuk mah! so menggelabah sekejap fikir mana nak dapat tu duit. whatsapped our colleague to ask if she could transfer but she also did not have enough. thankfully my sister was at home so i asked her to help me press my ibanking device so that i can transfer the money from my savings account to the normal account. you have no idea how relieved i felt after that. alhamdulillah we have found a bridal vendor. no more appointments to make and attend. this is actually quite difficult because we had to utilise the days we took leave this month or go after work hours which is very exhausting. also no more headache trying to choose one. i am just thankful that the patience and researching has paid off. so once again, bagus dengar cakap mak. i can now rest for a bit.
