Golden Flowers...

Every year around January I go into full gear with Undertale, and I notice everytime there's a new year or fresh start with this blog, I always want to draw my favourite character Chara. Seriously I adore this kid and there's still so much we dont know about them!
I was never really the biggest fan of the knife obsessed, murderous fanon Chara that the (mostly) majority of the fandom portrays them as, especially considering how Toby wrote them as the 'hope and future of humans and monsters', and every official merch or tweet by him and team shows them in a mysterious, yet chill and friendly light.
They're just a kid after all, and so I was especially inspired by the way they look in the intro of Undertale where they fall into the Underground, and when Asriel found them, so this Chara I drew is a little more accurate to their canon design, dot eyes, bob haircut, always holding a bunch of flowers.
This might be one of my favourite drawings ever because of the simpler style? Okay well my style is already pretty simple, but I was trying to match the game's art and a bit of Temmie's art. I think I accidentally drew the most babey Chara ever. I hope it brings as much joy to some of you as it does to me!
