I saw that The Adventure Of The Dying Detective is labelled ‘creator chose not to use archive warnings.’ Are you using this tag to mean that no archive warnings apply, or that one of the major archive warnings *does* apply and you’re choosing not to disclose which one?
In my main fandom I see people mix up the No Warnings Apply and Chose Not To Use Warnings labels a lot. As a result these days, I’m never sure if someone is just ruling out the other archive warnings, or using Chose Not To Warn as intended and deliberately abstaining from the warning system to avoid spoilers (leaving the door open to possibly include those heavier topics at a later date). I would read the fic either way, but I prefer to know what kind of story I’m getting myself into first lol.
Hi! I basically chose not to use archive warnings because I wasn't entirely sure about the contents of the whole fic myself when I first started it, especially on the violence aspect. So the violence one is an archive warning that May apply in the future, but not in the chapters I've published so far imo. There's only one chapter right now that deals with some heavier topics, but that one has a full list of trigger warnings at the beginning of the chapter, and that's how I intend to do it in future chapters as well. Hope that helps!
