Day 14

Despite the fact I'm super loaded down with homework, today was a good day. I got a lot done and was able to indulge in some me time.

You know what the greatest feeling in the world is? It's remembering the unsatisfied look you got from the most advanced tap teacher at the studio from the first day of choreo in the highest tap class when she learned you were put into that class. The whole "Seriously? This girl?" Look. It's remembering that look as we're passed competition season, and you've gotten called out for being one of the only people to actually get the combos out of the whole advanced class nearly every practice. Because I remember that WTH why expression she gave me when I showed up to the first competition choreo lesson. Like she didn't think I was good enough, and put me in the general back for most of the formations.... .....And now I hear "Brittney got it", "Nice", "Yes!", & "Good girl" comments from her on a weekly basis. I'm just.......agh. It just makes me really happy and I wanted to get that out of my system!

Today was looooong. I had my dance performance today and that was fun, but I didn't get much homework done.

Day 9

Today was a rough day. I didn't do as well as I hoped on my spanish quiz, and I learned today that I don't qualify for Mensa by a very slim margin. Despite this, I was still able to be somewhat productive.
