Hey I have a quick tap question!! So I used to be pretty involved in dance, but tap was never a big thing at my studio. I loved tap and have been missing it and hoping to get back into it. So I have a question! Do you know what the best way to practice at home is? I was thinking about getting some sort of portable marley floor that I could have in my room to practice. Have you seen anything like that? Thanks!
Yes I have! They make portable tap floors but from what I’ve seen they can get pretty pricey. I used to take some old leftover snap together hardwood floor and tap on that at home. People have also said a piece of plywood could work but I’ve never danced on that before. You can maybe contact a local dance store and they may know of a good place that sells the portable floors though.
If anyone has some recommendations for her on portable tap floors message one of us!
Edit: I almost forgot! My studio at college had this cool roll-up wooden floor. I don’t know how expensive they are but they’re worth looking into. Also, Discountdance.com might have a few things
