One artist I’ve been following for quite some time because of their Synthwave style is Beckett. He had been teasing a new album inspired by Japanese City Pop and today he opened up pre-orders for the album and released 2 advanced tracks! Tapeless – テープレス is going to be a 7 track album and I can’t wait to listen to the whole thing when it drops on May 31st!

I thought better of editors

A very depressing thread on Edit Suite Stories on Facebook where bad practice is constantly blamed on tapeless workflow. Somehow this is equated to tape being better and everything being better in the old days. One can't help but draw the following analogy
