Bungalow in Sacramento, California. Built in 1920, this cross-gabled house has a ground level of sufficient height to have been developed into additional living space. Springing from a narrow clapboard-covered lower level and tall piers, the square tapered columns are repeated as pilasters flanking the front door and windows.
