Hi may what are the Tapu giveaways I looked on the website but I didn’t know what they meant

We’ve been on a sort of unofficial hiatus for a few months (everyone has been super busy) and hope to pick up again over the summer (including streaming!), but @tapugiveaways is a collab giveaway blog where a bunch of us do themed giveaways together. I’m mod Lana.

I’ll be giving away my Voltron leftovers later.

Sinnoh Sunday 10/1

We’re hosting Captain Lana’s Platinum Nuzlocke tonight at 5pm ET! Join her as she fangirls her way through Sinnoh and tries not to kill too many party members (RIP Muffin & Cocoa). Suggest nicknames, gameplay, and additional rules. Also, other mods will be there wondertrading various shiny BR pokemon with a timer! 

Last time we made our way to Pastoria City, so we’re about to challenge Crasher Wake, take on Team Galactic (again), and meet Cynthia about a few (psy)ducks in the road. It should be fun!

What’s a Nuzlocke, you ask? Basically it’s playing a pokemon game with self-imposed rules that make the game more challenging. Some rules include:

Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently. :(

The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else (though duplicates can be ignored).

Players must nickname all of their Pokémon for the sake of forming stronger emotional bonds.

A black out/white out is considered to be "game over", even if there are Pokémon left in the PC (though for the sake of streaming a cohesive game we’re not going to do this one.)

Etc.

Some rules that we’ve implemented based on chat member suggestions:

A Pokemon that has died can stay in the party as a “zombie pokemon” but but if it dies again, it is permanently dead

Zombie pokemon can only use 1 move -- the last move it made before it’s first death.

Zombie pokemon can be brought back to life if it evolves OR wins 20 battles with its zombie move.

Wondertrade Wednesday 9/6

You may only deposit for ONE of EACH pokemon. If we catch you double dipping we will ban you from future giveaways on here and our own giveaway blogs.

Level and Gender Lock to avoid sniping if possible. Wrong gender or level lock = NO TRADE. We do not call you out if you use the wrong locks.

Wrong nickname (capitalisation isn’t necessary) = NO TRADE

If you haven’t been traded for an extended period of time (> 45 minutes), please send us an ask or message so we can check on your deposit. Make sure to include your IGN and what you’ve asked for, otherwise we can’t do much.

Be patient. Do not tell us when you deposit.

Tips

If you join the giveaway late, quickly browse the blog for posts regarding which Pokemon aren’t receiving many deposits. If there isn’t one, ask us!

Try & deposit for the Pokemon that you want from the least popular list, first.

After receiving all that you want from this selection, make a choice on what popular one you would like the most. Deposit for this.

If you get traded before the giveaway ends, great! Deposit for another Pokemon, you could also ask which are the least popular again, as these do change over time.

If you follow those tips, you should be able to get a nice number of Pokemon!

We will tell you when we have run out of a certain Pokemon or are closing the giveaway.
