The glorious Mount Taranaki. Beautiful, huh? :D The whole weekend was spent trying to find this mysterious mountain named Taranaki. It was pretty much a guessing game the whole time (my pictures/video weren't even in the right direction!!). I even went for a 13k hike to see it, come to find low visibility and continued guessing. At one point, I was convinced it was the other green, plain mountain. I was driving away with little hope to see this so called mountain, and then....FINALLY, there it was, in the rear view mirror.... the most glorious sliver of the Taranki, yet. I quickly turned around to get better views, but came to find the fog quickly rolling back in and Mt. Taranaki hid again :( But those few minutes, seeing a glimpse of Taranaki was so glorious and beautiful :) I'll be back one day in hopes to see all of Taranaki. #newzealandgoals #adventurestory #taranki #newzealandadventure #newplymouth #foggyweekend (at Mt Taranaki Adventures)
