An unexpected problem of owning 64 tarantulas: — Seeing a spider on your bed. — Momentarily freaking out. — Pausing. — Laughing at yourself because you aren't even afraid of spiders, like what are you doing lol??? — Pausing. — Freaking out again because holy shit what if it's one of yours that got out????

If you think you're brave try rehousing a dosile old world tarantula. I can't even imagine how people do it with their OBTs.

Welcome!

I just became a new tarantula mom, and I’m absolutely enamored with my baby! :D After following great, informative blogs like @tarantulacuties and @alrightyspidey for a few years, I realized that owning a tarantula could be something really awesome and rewarding  - and that cataloging some of the cute things my own spider does could be a fun activity for me, and possibly something cool for anyone interested!  I’m not anywhere close to an expert on spiders, so if you have any technological questions, I’d suggest directing them to the blogs mentioned above ^w^ Also, if you are a more experienced tarantula owner and have some advice, please feel free to share it with me! I’m always hoping to better myself as a spider mom :)  Not sure how often I’ll post/update, since my life is a little hectic at the moment, but I’ll try to remember to post maybe once a week! I hope everyone who takes a look enjoys their time on this blog!~
