lol i just about threw the book in house of hades when i found out he was gay, and in blood of olympus, just wow. i was sad tbh because i thought he was going to end up with some great girl but nooo XD

Nico ending up with some 'great girl' isn't what I was trying to get at when I said I hc him as bi ??? like him being into boys or whatever doesn't upset me at all, if anything I'm really glad that different sexualities are getting the spotlight in these books. Now mind you I haven't finished the book but I'm going to assume the 'nooo' means that he ended up with some guy and I'm happy to hear that because Nico deserves happiness. 

I'm just trying to wrap my mind around wanting to throw a book because you found out a character isn't 100% heterosexual. His sexuality shouldn't determine if you like him as a character or not. If you like him, and if he's one of your favorite character, like he is one of mine, you should just be happy that he's figuring himself out. That he's finding who he is and accepting it. Not getting sad because he didn't find the Right Girl.

Me headcannoning him as bisexual isn't meant to try and erase the feelings he had for Percy, to just mark it down as "oh well he must be into two or more genders, so he can end up with a great girl at the end of all this. That's the only conclusion." It was along the lines of "hey wouldn't it be great if his sexuality wasn't just Heterosexual or Homosexual. What if he was one of those other overlooked sexualities? wouldn't that be great?" 

This just got me really upset, because it's like, the exact opposite of the post this is in reply to. Yes I made it kind of vague and added question marks but that was because I'm not completely sure why I see Nico as Bisexual. But I do, and it's not just because I don't want him to be gay, so he can end up with a great girl. It's because it just feels right to me, like it fits him so well and he'll end up with whoever makes him happy. 

And maybe you didn't mean this reply in the way I read it, but the basic message is there and it just, rubs me the wrong way. Maybe in the future you should have a more open mind, and word things better.
