On the left is November 13, 2012 and it is my first day at Target in Electronics. At the time I was 19 years old and working at Things Remembered as an Engraver in the bak making a dollar above minimum wage at the time ($8.25) at 14 sometimes less hours a week. I was near broke, I use to gather up enough change to pay for gas for Jeep Jeep to get to work, somehow helped my parents with bills, I box dyed my hair at home, and jus took a break from school so I could work. I needed a second job and someone told me to apply at Target. The day after I applied, I got a call bak wanting me to work in Grocery as a seasonal team member. I remember my dad telling me I needed to mention I had technology experience from high school and I should be in electronics instead. Target took my advice into consideration they brought me in to interview and decided to have me in electronics for the holidays 2012 as a seasonal team member. For two years and one day, I worked for Target in Electronics till I switched to MarketSource as a Target Mobile Team Member. On the right is November 13, 2018 6 years later, 25 years old and a Target Mobile Team Lead🙂🙂 I make enough to live comfortably, drive an Avalon, still pay bills, go to a salon once a month, and bak in school for graphic design. 6 years went by so fast, but I’ve learned a lot along the way and matured a hella lot. I’ve met a lot of friends and even made a couple of really close ones from Target. I'm adding another badge to my collection today. Twas my last day with Target Mobile. It's hard to leave Target, especially since I've known a lot of the people I worked with for 4 years. But it's time to move on. When I made to switch from Electronics to Mobile 2 years ago, I thought it'd be an easy transition since I'd be at the same store with everyone. This time it's not the same and it's saddening. I've been waiting for today to come for a while, but now that's it's here it's bitter sweet. But I'll prolly get over it soon enough😜😜 I'm trading in my khakis (thank God, I hated them) for blue jeans! Next stop is Amtel with T-Mobile!!
