Breaking: 15 soldiers killed in Bani Walid

ttacked a checkpoint of the armed forces of the government of occupation on the road from Bani Walid and Tarhouna. An attack on a checkpoint manned by soldiers of the occupation government of the Libyan Jamahiriya has caused the death of 15 soldiers and wounded 5 others.

The attack ‘took place on the road from Tarhouna in Bani Walid, the territory has always been loyal to the Jamahiriya and its leader Muammar Gaddafi.

After the siege of Bani Walid and the occupation by the mercenaries of Misrata over the last year the situation and ‘always been very tense: the valiant people of that territory have never hidden their loyalty’ towards the Jamahiriya and adversity ‘for the occupation forces in the pay of foreign imperialist powers.

Military join the protesters in Tarhouna, Libya.

Tripoli: Centre of town is completely blocked by the regime in anticipation of foreign media arrival (most likely CNN). The regime aims to prove that there are no issues on the ground and to falsify the massacres and genocide of the past five days and nights.

Tarhouna: Military (the 7th and 9th brigade) have joined the people and denounced the regime. Kindly note, this is the same military facility which lead the Gaddafi revolution to overthrow King Idris in 1969.

Zintan: Still in desperate need of medical supplies.

Tripoli & Benghazi: Both cities are alarmingly quiet. Not a sound to be heard.
