Age of Rebellion: Grand Moff Tarkin “Tooth and Claw” is damn near flawless...except for this part here.
In the novel, Tarkin, Luceno specifically states:
From the way he responds Endo, it gives me the impression that he has some sort of animosity towards Eriadu and Jova.
I absolutely believe Tarkin would destroy his own planet if directed by the Emperor, or for the good of the Empire. I also believe he would not hesitate in doing it. But to do it with a smile on his face, with pleasure? No way. He loves Eriadu, it shaped him, and is part of him. That includes a respect for Jova because Uncle Jova truly taught Wilhuff how to survive brutal conditions, but also about life in general. Maybe he resented him early on, but I don’t think this matches up very well.
That being said, I really love this comic so much. It captured everything I could possibly want from a Tarkin one-shot and I would love them to give us more Tarkin content in the future of this caliber
