Decided to do a simple re-design of my character Young Tarpman (yet to have a name for his alter ego - shown here). My tablet doesn't get good color, so I found that exporting at 72 dpi and uploading it on my phone for review helps me to get better colors and I need to do that when I'm on the flats layer, before rendering. (Colors are still off a bit . . .) Done in Clip Studio Paint. Young Tarpman (c) me Art (c) me
More of my character Young Tarpman. This is his hero appearance. He's an elementary school super hero. (here's hoping that the colors are decent . . . my laptop colors don't show accurately . . .) This was done while streaming on my Picarto.TV character/ art (c) me
An idea I've been toying with for a little bit, except as a youth instead of a college student. He will have some goofy powers that may or may not be associated with his "tarp." This is in no means finished. I still want to refine the character design a bit; also the character on the left is drawn with pencil lines and the one on the right is drawn with pen lines. All artwork is done digitally in Clip Studio Paint. Character/ Art (c) me
Sic sempre tarpmanis!
LaVoy Finicum’s son-in-law Spencer Finch told the Daily News that family members had family were informed the Arizona rancher was shot.
LaVoy Finicum told OPB his four foster children were removed from his Arizona home due to his involvement in the armed occupation at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
#Tarpman emerges at Oregon protest
As the occupation of a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon reaches day 5, a local sheriff says protesters will face charges when the siege ends.
One of the occupiers includes 55-year-old Arizona rancher LaVoy Finicum, who sat in a rocking chair with a rifle underneath his blanket, covered by a blue tarp. MSNBC’s Tony Dokoupil reports that Finicum and others are upset about federal control of vast stretches of land.
Finicum says there’s a warrant out for his arrest and that he wouldn’t hesitate to point his gun at authorities if one is drawn on him.
