     “I was not myself before,” the Venetian was relieved to see the person well and alive, “I apologize if I...did any harm.” There had been an odd mixture of emotions for the brunette when she’d been forced into her human form, lust and rage taking root in the heart of her. She couldn’t remember most of what she’d done, but for the times of coherency, she scarcely recognized herself or her actions. She had, however, recognized the person, as they’d crossed paths, and wished to check in on them.

His only intention had been to do work, and as he’d learned in passing by the place, the coffee shop had fairly good wifi.  His place, while a good three or so blocks away, was not as close to his job as this coffee shop was. Which meant this middle ground was where he would be when he was running late, as he was now.

Fingers clicking away, he could have sworn someone had said something to him. Raising his head, Nola met the gaze of a stranger. His eyes dropped quickly down, and rather than ask if there was anything they wanted, he proceeded to stare at the floor by their feet in silent panic.
