The loudest muse in my head for a long time has been Amelia Bones and while I’m not currently playing her anywhere, she’ll always be a favorite. I love her strength and the way she carries on despite all the things that happen to her. She loses her parents, her brother, sister in law, nieces and nephews all in a very short time span and then goes on to become head of the DMLE, a member of the Wizengamot, and one of the most respected witches of her time. A likely candidate for Minister if not for her death. 

I love her and have a lot of feelings about her but I’m going to stop here because someone asked ALL the questions.

OH LORD. Ok, so I write with some really talented fucking people but my favorite characters are the ones who break the mold a bit? Stella (@pomonawrites) makes Alice Longbottom come alive in ways that I’d never even considered before seeing her version. Same with @pandarenwrites and Narcissa Malfoy. Both characters went from “mom’s of characters I like in the books” to fully fleshed out, three dimensional characters who continually break my heart. I hate you both.

I’m a sucker for chemistry, which has led me to some odd ships. Though it was never fully realized, I think my favorite was “Harvilligan” aka Jo Harvelle and Adam Milligan from the Supernatural fandom. They NEVER MET IN CANON and are both dead, but I don’t even care I ship it like fedex and it’s all Ceci’s fault for being brilliant. There are SO many more because I am a high key multi-shipper but that one will always hold a special spot for me.

Where do I start?! My beautiful friend Dallas (@dallirious) made me ship McMoody -- Minerva McGonagall and Alastor Moody which has lead to some ridiculously wonderful AU plots and drabbles that I absolutely adore. Also, Stella (again, that little shit) and Godot created a beautiful thing in Malice - Alice Longbottom and Alastor Moody. I DIDN’T WANT TO SHIP IT. I told her that and now I ship the shit out of it anyway. And then there’s Lauren ( @queerlyslytherin)  and Amanda (@siriusorionblackthethird) who have somehow turned me into Wolfstar trash.

There have been so many?! I don’t even know where to start. Basically, I have made some of the best friends I’ve ever had through RP.

In my first ever Harry Potter RP, I was playing Amelia Bones (surprise surprise) and was involved with a crackship that just sort of developed based on chemistry. It was glorious and heartbreaking. But, there was another player who wanted to ship with the character Amelia had found herself involved with and because she didn’t get the chance to do so, she started actively sabotaging me, the RP, and anyone who didn’t agree that her ship (ALSO a crackship) was better. She was eventually booted, but the damage was done.

I’m very much looking forward to the opening of @whereforequidditch-rp and the addition of Midsummer Night’s dream characters. I have a mighty need for the troublesome sprite Puck.

Jesus H. Christ where do I begin? I’ve mentioned several of them above, but also Rain (@thenarglewrites) and Lex (@slythieprincess) and Julia (@cranesflying) and Brooke ( @eowynlotr08) and so so so so many more. These are people who’ve talked me through some of the hardest shit I’ve had to go through and cheered me up with silly head canons. I’ve met several of them in person and was honestly shocked by how easy it was to be with them. They’re people who know I’m crazy and love me anyway. There are more, like so so so many more, but I don’t know everyone’s tumblr urls anymore and I’m turning into an emotional mushy sap. 

This is all your fault, Kacie.

I love @tartlewrites fully and truly, she is one of the best human beings I've met on this website. If you have a problem with her you have a problem with me, so therefore please kindly unfollow me. I love Kacie, she's one of the strongest most badass people I know and she's handling all of this with such grace and humility and even if she wasn't; nobody deserves what's happened to her, not even the people doing it. This community is about playing make believe with strangers through bits of plastic and wire. Check yourselves and see if you're starting to treat it like it's anything else. It's RP, it's fun and awesome and ridiculous but it's not that deep. Let's all try to act our ages and remember that. Let's just be kind to one another.
