**SPOILERS AHEAD**

even though I’m an og genshin player,I “didn’t” ship them until last year,since I stopped being an anti and fully embraced my fictional taboo interests (and coping mechanisms)…Also I was interested in them since Ajax’s lore was revealed,but I was too scared and ashamed of myself to ship them at first.

Then,when I embraced the “proshipper identity” I started to love them more and more,and now they’re my favorite ship!

I love the fact that Skirk sees herself in Ajax sooooo much!

I also am interested in the fact that Skirk was abused by Surtalogi,and she acts cold towards Ajax because she can’t keep relationships due to her master’s threats…But she deeply cares about Ajax;

this deep masquerade of toxicity and affection made me love them even more…

There are so many things I love about them!

Personally I don’t necessarily see them as a momson relationship , just a traumatized woman who projects herself into her “student” and starts to feel something more,but can’t show him love due to her “past” (past trauma but current threat),Ajax reminds her of herself as a kid , and she also feels the need to grow him as she was grown by Surtalogi.To make him stronger.To protect him (kind of,this is mainly my interpretation).

Also I hc that Ajax didn’t have the time nor the place to fulfill his needs as a teenager…But Skirk?Oh,she was so pretty…He def had a crush on her…
