there was so many little parts to pick out from that last raylla scene that made my heart burst, so here goes:

• rae smiling so hard running to scylla and nearly knocking her over with the force and momentum of the hug (you can see amalia trying to keep them both steady)

•JUST THAT HUG (we need more raylla hugs in season 3) the way they cling to each other 🧡

•the unwavering eye contact from both taylor and amalia and how taylor keeps her hand on amalia’s face

•scylla BLUSHING

• ‘you saved my life again’

• ‘i don’t want to be apart from you anymore’ 💔 and that look raelle gives scylla (damn) and the ‘me either’ that follows 🥺

• FINALLY THAT EPIC KISS (might have to be my favourite raylla kiss) but also them smiling into the kiss

•and those two just holding onto each other after THE kiss

and just a side note: taylor and amalia’s chemistry is off the charts like this show deserves so many more seasons.

Lesbian Dad, I'm begging you, please explain what's so special Threshold that we gave it a day? Like I get the episode was realsed today but why are we cleebrating it?

Well, kiddo...

The way I see it, it's people finding joy in a celebration of something which MANY have called "the worst hour of Star Trek ever aired" (I had someone say those exact words to me). But TRULY it's NOT the worst hour of Star Trek ever aired, it's NOT. It's wacky to the max and completely unhinged from reality and it's NEVER SPOKEN OF AGAIN and that's just INCREDIBLY funny. They made an episode that just DID THAT and then they DON'T EVER TALK ABOUT IT. EVER. That's what I call comedy.

But, more than that, I see it as a celebration of fans. Because this all started because a small group of tumblr Trek fans decided "we're going to have fun and celebrate this ridiculous, funny, horrible, Emmy-Award-Winning episode of Star Trek" and now HERE WE ARE! And every year more people join in on the fun! Star Trek fans make things happen! It's beautiful!!

But above all, the reason we celebrate today is because Janeway said "Lizard Tom Paris Gets Pegged" and they just LET HER. THEY JUST LET HER DO THAT!
