HEADCANON.

CeCe’s old company, not so cleverly titled ‘XXXrated,’ was nothing like NDHQ. The big boss people only really cared about views and ratings, they weren’t so concerned with the safety and wellbeing of their stars, but admittedly CeCe never ran into any problems there. In fact, despite the fact that she’d never really considered porn before, she found that she actually kind of enjoyed it. From the age of 18-20, CeCe worked for XXXrated using the alias Violet Rayne, the same one she’s using now, and made a ton of content, as well as a nice little bit of money from them, too. Had it not been for her meeting Aliyana and the older girl being uncomfortable with the idea of her girlfriend working in the porn industry, she probably would’ve continued it right through college. CeCe holds no negativity in regards to her old company, in spite of the fact that it was never very well run, and likes to think of it as good experience before she really joined the big leagues.

It had never really been a secret to CeCe that her ex wife was insecure about their relationship, though she genuinely had no idea why. CeCe was never anything but completely devoted and faithful to her, so Ali had no reason to worry, but for some reason she did, and CeCe never tried to invalidate her feelings. What ultimately led to Aliyana being unfaithful herself was the fact that CeCe was just too laid back about everything. For some reason, the older girl liked to get a rise out of her, and would constantly flirt with other people to make CeCe jealous. Being as laid back as she was, though, she honestly never realized, and it was like nothing Ali could do would phase her.

During a party for her twenty-third birthday, thrown by Aliyana at their home, apparently CeCe’s attention had been given too deeply to other people, and not enough to Aliyana. In an attempt to grab her attention, and to make her jealous in the process, Ali had started to flirt with one of the new guys, Dave, from CeCe’s work. He’d had no idea that Ali was CeCe’s wife, and before long they were going to Ali and CeCe’s bedroom together. The intention had been for CeCe to see them, or for someone to tell her, and that she’d go up there and show some jealousy. Evidently, Ali took things a little too far, and when CeCe had gone up there, they’d literally been in the middle of having sex.

Ali had wanted jealousy, and jealousy was what she got, along with a whole other bunch of negative feelings and emotions. The fact that they ended because Ali was unfaithful, no matter what her reasoning, is why CeCe struggles so badly to get over her, because there was never any love lost. Yes, her trust was broken, her ex wife betrayed her, but CeCe never fell out of love with her. It’s said that mourning the loss of someone who’s still alive is one of the most heartbreaking things to have to go through, and CeCe knows firsthand that that’s one hundred percent true.
