[ PERSONAL. ]
01. how many languages does your character speak ? In total, Laurent can speak several languages. His native tongue has been forgotten but he can fluently speak Spanish, Latin, French, Haitian Creole, Greek, and English. He can comprehend others but just enough to survive a day or three. 02. how does your character express anger ? As a rule of thumb, for his own sanity and possible conflict resolution, he tends to avoid things that will elicit such a response. When he is unable to do such techniques, he tries to vocalize his displeasure and unease. He is unable to hide his emotions as his expressions often betray him. 03. what is your character's home like ? It would be as if you've stepped into the 1930s Creole flair. Of course, it is modernized so that he isn't too far behind. Champagne. Ivory. Marble. A beautiful architecture wonder as if it was ripped right from the period. The sound of jazz to make you right at home. 04. how does your character handle conflict ? He tries his best to talk it out. Walk through every emotion felt and simply it so the complexities of feelings don't muddle the purpose or tone. If Laurent can't achieve it that way, he would settle for a good cussin'. 05. how does your character display affection ? A creature of intimacy and closeness, he generally will exhibit it through physical contact and time. It's easier for him to bring his thoughts to words but it is so much easier to just show it.
[ SUPERNATURAL. ]
01. when did you character first notice their powers / differences ? He didn't believe it but the emergence of his vampirism and the severance of his spellcasting was almost immediate. It was almost like he had to experience a second 'death' of 'self'. 02. how does your character feel about their abilities / species ? Laurent has grown confident in his own abilities and self-reliance as his interactions with vampires hasn't been daisies and rose gardens (without thorns). 03. what stereotypical traits of their species does your character show ? are there any ways in which they subvert them ? He definitely gets a little broody. To counteract this, he tends to throw himself into reorganizing his portfolios or throwing lavish parties. 04. what's your muse's favorite ability / the one they use the most ? why ? There isn't one that he favors but he does enjoy toying with his matter manipulation. It reminds him of how easy it was to cast spells and defy the laws of possibility. It keeps him grounded. 05. what is your character's reason for being guided to portum ? To protect himself from himself. To gain a sense of community. To adapt to life without traces of his sire. To possibly find more of himself.
