The Task of The Artist
This colorful little book with text by Joseph Conrad is an interesting hybrid. Most of the content is sewn on pages that come out as an accordion fold, showcasing small reproductions of famous art like some odd gallery wall.
Designed and produced at Pequeño Press by Patrice Baldwin, it was printed in 12 pt. Bell typeface on Neenah Camel paper. Original illustrations are by Patrice Baldwin as well. The fabric collage covers are by Rebecca Speakes. This is 7 in an edition of 25 (information from the colophon). Library has two copies: copy 1 is number 7, copy 2 is number 24. Both are signed by the artist.
