[ hair ] A major source of his pride in that he is meticulous about its appearance. It is kept slicked back by only the best water-based pomades he can get his hands on, and kept relatively short compared to the longer curls he would sport in his younger years. There is one barber close to home that he has visited for decades ever since he realized the ways a sharp haircut can benefit a self-made man—since then no other hands have touched those dark strands except for the few that have tugged on them in only the most intimate of scenarios.

[ face ] Longer than most, like the setup to the type of joke that never fails to make him want to groan at person telling it. Subtle sun spots decorate the parts of his face that are often exposed to the sun, like the tops of his cheeks, the bridge of his nose, and his forehead. The lower half is shrouded by another source of his immense pride, his beard, in a successful attempt of disguising the wide (not-so-intimidating) cheeks beneath it. His square nails are kept short for hygienic reasons, and also because it makes wearing gloves easier. His hands are dry and susceptible to chapping due to years of enduring colder climates.They are much like his father’s hands, in that they are more apt for pencils rather than guns, but their precision proves useful at times.
