Last night I made a rare appearance in Century City for the 25th Anniversary Of UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation's "Taste For A Cure". The last time was here was to shoot Jennifer López for her movie Hustlers. This time I was located to levels down in The Fairmont Century Plaza to shoot Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Rob Lowe. I’d only shot Ken twice before. Both Robin Thicke and Rob Lowe were my first times. These hotels always such grand spaces. Over to our left the area where the tasty foodie bites were being served. I had eaten but a fellow photographer kept up the pressure to have go over after our work to try some of these beautifully present sample of some of the finest cuisine in Los Angeles. It was a very slow carpet and arrivals were sparse but significant. Some of the bites were absolutely stellar and I only had a few because they were so rich and filling. It was an easy shoot but I ended up staying awake late getting a bad night’s sleep. Today has been a low energy day of recovery.
